Ooty – officially known as Udagamandalam is a town and a municipality in the Nilgiris district of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The botanical gardens here is a massive tourist attraction during flowering season , a flower show along with an exhibition of rare plant species is held every year in month of May at this garden. Known to the people as “Queen of hills”, this hill station is a prime favourite during summer season (April- May- June) in India.

| Itinerary | Day 1: Arrival at Ooty from Coimbatore airport/ drive from Chennai or Bangalore and transfer to Hotel. After breakfast proceed to visit Ooty Lake. The lake is set among groves of Eucalyptus trees with a railway line running along one bank. Boating facilities are also available in the lake. Proceed back to the hotel and afternoon free for leisure.
Day 2: After breakfast proceed for a full day local tour. Visit to Botanical Garden. The Gardens have around a thousand species, both exotic and indegeous of plants, shrubs, ferns, trees, herbal and bonsai plants. In the centre of the Gardens lie a fossilized tree trunk estimated to be 20 million years old. Proceed to Doddabetta peak. In the Nilgiris plateau Doddabetta is highest peak of the Nilgiris district remarkable for the flattened curve of its summit. Later proceed to Rose Garden. The rose garden has also received the Garden of Excellence Award for being the best rose garden in south Asia. Proceed to hotel and overnight stay at hotel. DAY 3: After breakfast proceed for return journey.
