Mysore officially known as Mysuru is a city within the state of Karnataka. Royalty thy name is Mysuru with the Wodeyar family being the only living kingdom present in India till date. The Royal Dusshera procession during the final day of Navratri celebrations- on Vijayadashmi is a major attraction with crowds thronging to view the idol of Godess Chamundeshwari being carried in a golden throne on top of an elephant. Pre-independence practise was that the king himself would lead the procession seated on top of the throne on the royal elephant. The rich and cultural heritage of Mysuru is definitely a highlight on your visit to this city.

| Itinerary | Day – 1 : Arrive in Mysore and transfer to the hotel. After lunch proceed to visit the famous Indian cartoonist – RK Laxman’s house and then head to the Mysore Silk Emporium with a visit to Devraja Market and observing the local culture. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.
Day – 2 : After breakfast proceed to visit the Mysore Palace and then visit the Zoological gardens. In the evening head to Brindavan gardens for a sound and light show performance if interested, else you can view the Mysore Palace lit in all its glory. Overnight stay at the hotel. Day – 3 : After breakfast checkout from the hotel and proceed on your return journey. |
