Itinerary | DAY 01: ARRIVE MAURITIUS
Arrive in Mauritius. Check into the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure soaking in the tropical ambience of Mauritius. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Breakfast at hotel. then proceed for a North Island tour comprising Grand Bay, which is a shopping paradise, the Pereybere beach, the ruins of the old Balaclava estate, the Triolet Shivala, which is the longest village on the island with the biggest Hindu Temple, Maheswarnath. Next, travel to the beautiful Labourdonnais Orchards, where you can discover a large variety of tropical fruit trees and perfumed exotic flowers. The adventurous can enjoy trips on mountain bikes. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel of your choice. DAY 03: SOUTH ISLAND TOUR After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full day tour of the South Island. Visit the extinguished volcano of Trou aux Cerfs with its enchanting view, the forest reserve of Plaine Champagne, the Black River National Park and the sacred lake of Grand Bassin. Most important part of the tour would be the visit to Chamarel, an undulating landscape of different and contrasting shades of colours. The different shades of blue, green, red and yellow are an outcome of the erosion of the volcanic ash. At the Chamarel Village, you can enjoy the taste of typical Mauritian cuisine. DAY 05: ILE AUX SURF ISLAND TOUR AND/OR BLUE SAFARI SUBMARINE After breakfast at the hotel, gear up to spend an entire day at the Ile Aux Surf Island, which has the most beautiful beach in Mauritius and is a true paradise for water sports lovers. Enjoy swimming and snorkeling in the turquoise waters of the lagoon and indulge in para sailing, under water sea walk etc; Depending on your interest in the underwater world, you can embark on the Blue Safari submarine trip and encounter an exhilarating world of marine life with a rich array of flora and fauna and also the 17th century ruins of the shipwreck of “Star Hope.” Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
